Inese Vaivare has worked for the Latvian government for 12 years on such topics including strategic policy development, public administration and public services reforms and has drafted legislative acts on the involvement of the civil society in the governance processes. Since 2012, she has been the director of the Latvian National Platform for Development Cooperation. Inese is also a lecturer at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and Academy of Culture. She is a council member of the global network of national platforms Forus and an elected representative of CSOs in the Council of Memorandum between the Cabinet of Ministers and NGOs.
