Derek Bardowell is the CEO of Ten Years’ Time and author of Giving Back, which reimagines philanthropy through a reparatory lens. His first book No Win Race was a Sunday Times and Financial Times Book of the Year in 2019 and he contributed an essay to the Black British Lives Matter anthology in 2021. Between 2009 and 2019, Derek was responsible for managing the distribution of over £150 million to good causes in 34 countries. He is a Thirty Percy Foundation and Mission 44 trustee.
