Stacey Frier

Policy adviser - civic space

Stacey is Bond’s policy adviser focusing on civic space and the operating environment. She supports organisations from across the development and environment sector to respond to restrictions on advocacy and campaigning in the UK.

Stacey has been working in public affairs and policy for over sixteen years. Prior to working at Bond she worked for the RSPCA, English Heritage, Historic England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Whilst at DCMS she co-wrote the government’s Culture White Paper and was part of the Cultural Property (Armed Conflicts) Bill team.

She has a Masters in Legislative Studies from the University of Hull and co-authored “Campaigning to Change Law and Policy”, a chapter in the undergraduate textbook “Discovering Parliament”. In her spare time Stacey is a governor for two academies in south west London and enjoys, rather than endures, a bittersweet life as a Leicester City fan.

Stacey is Rowan Popplewell’s maternity cover and will be at Bond until December 2019.
