We’re seeing the impact of the climate crisis every day. But we can tackle it together.

Last year organisations from across Bond and The Climate Coalition came together to collectively call for action from prime minister Boris Johnson in the run up to and at COP26 in the Glasgow Action Plan.

A lot has changed since March 2020 when the plan was first published. COP26 was postponed and we have been living through a global pandemic. Our interconnectivity and fragility has never been so clear. Around the world, solidarity with each other and particularly the most vulnerable has grown, as have calls for societies to build back better from this crisis and to work together to prevent the next.

COP26 is a critical moment for the world to come together to secure a more sustainable, just, and resilient future for us all – and as COP26 president – UK leadership is vital.

Three major coalitions, CAN-UK, The Climate Coalition, and Bond have therefore updated the Glasgow Action Plan for 2021. With 105 organisations signed on, this six core policy areas provide a clear call-to-action for prime minister Boris Johnson as the UK prepares to COP26 in November 2021.
