Bond reaction to killing of seven humanitarian workers in Gaza
On Tuesday 2 April seven humanitarian workers from the INGO World Central Kitchen were killed in an IDF strike in Gaza.
In reaction to the news, Gideon Rabinowitz, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Bond said:
Today is a tragic day and our thoughts go out the families, colleagues and friends of the humanitarian workers who have lost their lives trying to provide much needed support in Gaza. Humanitarians workers risk their lives every day to reach people in dire need of support. They must be able to do this safely and civilians much be protected, in line with international humanitarian law. We urgently need a humanitarian immediate ceasefire.
