Bond statement in response to MP's voting against Gaza and Israel ceasefire

Gideon Rabinowitz, Bond’s Director of Policy, Advocacy and Research said:

“It is deeply troubling that MPs have chosen not to support a ceasefire in Gaza. The toll this conflict is continuing to take on civilians is unacceptable, and urgent humanitarian assistance cannot be provided without a cessation of hostilities. If we fail to act, we will witness continued loss of life, destruction, and suffering. We cannot allow ourselves to grow indifferent to the unfolding tragedy before our eyes.”
