Stephen has worked at the TUC for twenty-seven years. For the last few years he has been a policy officer in the Rights, International, Social and Economics department, specialising in international labour standards, and leading on solidarity and campaigns work on Bangladesh, Brazil, Guatemala and Qatar. He is an active member of the ILO’s Committee on the Application of Standards, and is a trade union member of the board of the Ethical Trading Initiative.
