Myriam Castaneda Solares leads Start Network’s advocacy work and external engagement to drive change in the aid sector, focusing on locally-led and anticipatory action.
She has worked in public policy, political analysis, strategic communications, and advocacy campaigns across multidisciplinary fields including private and public sectors, international organisations, and the donor community, such as JICA, SIECA, and the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations.
She has an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and a double BA in International Relations with a minor in International Organisations and Political Science from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala. She is passionate and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable people and being of service to others.
