Mr. Clive Barker has been a Programmes Manager at the CPA Headquarters Secretariat since April 2020, working on parliamentary strengthening around the Commonwealth. Before this appointment, he supported the 7th Secretary-General of the CPA as his Executive Assistant; before this, he worked as a Programmes Administrator.
Clive holds a Global Development and Sociology degree from Derby University, 2014- 2017. He also has a Project Management for Development (PMD Pro) certification. Clive is currently the lead coordinator for the Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) network and of the Headquarters Secretariat’s Youth Engagement activities. He recently helped publish the Secretariat’s Pay and Remuneration: Survey Outcome Report and was the lead author of the Secretariat’s Disability Inclusive Communications Guidelines for Parliaments.
