The group shares information and best practice on engaging with the EU, be it influencing policy or raising funds for development or humanitarian programmes. It helps maintains links between UK CSOs, the UK Government, primarily through the FCDO’s Europe Department, the European Commission and CONCORD – the European confederation of relief and development NGOs. The group helps ensure UK CSOs can continue to access funding from the EU post-Brexit, lends advice on technical aspects of engaging with the EU, either in Brussels or with the Delegations, and facilitates conversations with UK-based EU policy makers. The group has regular webinars and roundtables open to all members to help further develop EU relations.
