Flamingo for NGOs

We are a small, independent consultancy, established in 2012. We specialise in management and funding for international development NGOs and civil society organisations. Our offer includes training, coaching, support in funding strategies, research, as well as support in project design, proposal development and bid writing. Recent consultancy assignments have included research into new funding models, conducting funding reviews, development of funding strategies, designing and delivering training programmes, bid writing support, and coaching and mentoring for resource mobilisation. Rachel Haynes is the Director and Lead Consultant of Flamingo. Since becoming an independent consultant in 2012, setting up the consultancy that was to become Flamingo, Rachel has worked with over 50 organisations on funding matters, is a feminist and active in civil society networks. She works with a network of associates - other experienced independent consultants, pulling together the right teams for specific assignments. Rachel is also an active Trustee of SWIDN - the South West International Development Network.
